Frequency Hopping

    We are using SFH, so we do not have to set HSN2, right?

    Hi DangerousMinds,
    in SFH you should set HSN. Cells which belongs to one site will have the same HSN. Cells of different sites will have different HSNs.

    In SFH, only HSN-1 is meaningful, so yes you dont have to set HSN-2.

    Hi DangerousMinds,

    I think that the problems is on parameters of RF hopping.

    You have set MAIO step = 1 and this cause interference problems, because you are using adjacent hopping frequencies for the TRX-s of the same cell.

    Are you using more than one hopping trx per cell? if yes then MAIO step should equal or greater than 2.

    With the MAIO Step parameter you can use successive channel numbers within a
    single cell. For example, with step value ‘2’ 400kHz channel separation is achieved.
