    Hi all

Anyone has experienced metallic sound in various sites connected to NSN eBSC BR9? All tests are done, it is neither about transmission erros, nor hardware fault, nor RF interference.
When we change the site to another type of BSC (not eBSC), the problem disappears by magic.

If anyone had the same issue, and how they did to solve this, thanks.

    Hi Pix
Thanks for the reply. I have checked the DB but no DTX is activated for all cells in this eBSC.

    regards,
    Sarko

    Hi, Sarkoland.
I think you should focuse on TRAU. Try checking connection between TRAU and MSC, I think that one of these connections are faulty.

    Hi again 🙂
I mean if this problem occurs randomly. If affected are some specific sites and most of the calls through them then try connecting sites PCMs to different eBSC card.

    Hi Sarkoland,
is it happening with all type of phones? It happens in our network (ALU) when the called party has Nokia phone then we experience metallic (sword) sounds. Couldn’t solved, even by ALU TAC. So, check that, with different types/models of phones.
    Regards,
    Rex
