How many idle time slots for pdch are needed in one site with 3 cells?
ahmad Guest
hi
can any one support us with the formula used to calculate the IDLE TS in huwaie BSC 32 & 6000

How Many Idle time slot we have defined in Huawei system?
arcee Guest
We require minimum 24 Idle TS in any cell with 3 sectors if we have defined 2 Static PDCH in each sector.
2 Static PDCH * 3 sector =6 (64 K TS)
6 (64K)= 24 (16k) Idle TS
This is kept for providing min service to one subscriber given he only gets Static PDCH.

Hi Arcee
Dummy Question in my mind. please correct me.
In Huawei,TRAU frames(G-Abis Perf. indicator)just effects the KPI’s on PS or any effect on CS KPI’s. and how it increased(mainly due to any timer expired like T200).
