Erlang greater than the no. of TCH

    Hi,
    If we refer Erlang B table with GoS of greater than 30% then the equipped traffic is greater than the number of TCH… how is it possible…??

    hi,

    the value of the traffic that you see in the erlang table is the incoming traffic. 30% of the incoming traffic is rejected, while 70% is carried by the system.

    Multiply the value of the traffic by 70%, I’m sure it will be less than the amount of channels.

    Hi Pix,
    Ok…the value in Erlang table is equipped erlang and equipped erlang can be less than or greater than the carried erlang…is it so??

    in the erlang table, you se the “offered” traffic, which I called the “incoming” traffic.
    The “carried” traffic is not shown, but can be calculated = incoming traffic * blocking rate.
