In one of the operator in India when we go for the manual search then we are not able to find the network and when we go for the automatic search then ms easily find the network so can anyone tell me the possible reason behind this?

Manual search should list all operators, while automatic search will locate the MS on the preferred operator.

Your problem is due to phone malfunction. Are you sure you are giving enough time to the MS to scan all the frequencies ? It can take a while.

2 location area with one ID in different MSC

for example we hace LAC code 2333 in MSC1 and MSC 2 ?

could you explain ?
