Why there is -ve sign before the measurement of Rx Level in Microwave link?
It is always measured in dBm. The level is positive in microvolts but its equivalent in dBm is negative. e.g 1Watt=+30dBm
+0.3Microvolt(75 Ohms)= -119dBm
You get a clear picture if you refer to volts verses dBm table.
