    hi malik,

ho reversion means that the MS was not able to connect to the target cell. After a short while, the MS (by itself) decides to stop trying and goes back to its old serving cell.

ho failure means the MS was not able to connect to the new target cell and not able to make a reversion.

also, depending on your vendor’s name definition, a ho failure could be due to target cell congestion.

    cheers

but according 2 u”depending on your vendor’s name definition, a ho failure could be due to target cell congestion”. will there be any handover commad given by bsc when there is congestion in the target cell.

no, no ho cmd when congestion.
if by failure you understand a problem between ho command and ho complete, then the congestion is not part of failure causes 🙂

    hi all

we have aproblem in our network which we have no HO attempts from Huawei BSC6000 and ZTE BSC , when the relation defined both way , but when we defined the relation as one way from huwaie BSC6000 there is attempts to ZTE BSC and when the relation be 2 way there is no attempts to ZTE neighbors.

any one face aproblem like this.we think the problem is from huwaie side but nothing clear to us right now.

    please to advice.

    🙂
