Paging per seccond

    Hi,
    Can any body help me to give the calculation of paging per seccond,By leting an ex if MFRMS =4,AGBLK=1,

    Paging Block= 8*4= 32
    and that can page let 3 messages (avg depend on TMSI and IMSI )
    total paging msg = 3*32/236.35 ms

    Is it the right method or i am doing blunder because here i am getting a huge value please help me.

    There’s an error with your calculation.

    Total pages/s= 3*8/236.35ms.

    In each multiframe, you have 8 paging blocks, not 4*8. You should not multiply 8 by 4(the MFRMS), otherwise, the denominator of ur equation should also be multiplied by 4.

    The MFRMS indicates the repetition period(in terms of number of multiframes) for each paging group. Thus, it should only be used to determine the number of paging groups.
