hi all,
how SS7 type operates in a DCME system? in DCME system we have ITs how can we relate SS7 ISUP information with relevant IT ( IT to SS7 mapping ) ?
How the common channel signaling is passed or transmitted through DCME?
Is there a need of compressing SS7 while transmitting through DCME?
Which channel or bearer will be used to to carry signaling system?
Digital Circuits Multiplication Equipment – DCME – has been around for a long time.
This is used where you have international, satellite, PDH, SDH, microwave connections, etc..
It offers voice and signalling compression. Traditionally, DCME is used to handle PCM compression.
Latest DCME solutions can handle Voice and ss7 compression.
