SDCCH Drop during Location Update

    Hi all

    Plz is there is any one of you suffer from abnormal increase on the SDCCH Drops (Huge increase) specially during the early hours where there is no any traffic, we have this increase and we make extensive analysis.

    PLS SPECIFY WHICH VENDOR U R USING? OVER ALL THE PROBLEM CAN BE OVERSHOOT, MISSING NEIGHBORS, INTERFERENCE, MISSING HO ON SIGNALLING CHANNELS, TX LINK STABILITY, HARDWARE FAULTS ON TRX, BTS,BSC OR EVEN MSC WISE.
    IN CASE OF CLARIFYING THE VENDOR, WE WILL BE ABLE TO GIVE U MORE EFFICIENT IDEAS AND SOLUTIONS

    Hi all,

    we see the same problem in Nokia BSS. The SDCCH Drop Rate rises if there are many location updates in the cell or when the traffic is low.

    Dears
    we are using multi vendors ALU, Eric and Huawei and we have this problem in all the network and in the same time which mean it’s not radio problem accordingly we are suspecting in the core network alot of traces are condected but nothing till now

    Hi,

    We are facing this problem, high ATIMASCA for LUP (in huge number) but some investigation it’s just a phenomenon called “Phantom RACH”.

    thanks dears but i need more than that, radio conditions are very good and other thing degradation is happing in all the network at the same time which confence us this is not radio problem, is there is any one heared about the crazy mobiles (chaines mobiles).
