Hi,
What is the rule of thumb in assigning HSN to cells within the same area? the TRXs are in CHGR0 excluding the BCCH.

Hello Eric,

Different HSN, any value is good, as long as it is different. HSN = 14 is very different than 15 or 13, so no issue about “adjacent” HSN 🙂

For cells within the same BTS, use the same HSN, but different MAIO for each TRX.
