    Check following procedures via Gd:
    1. MO-SMS
    2. MT-SMS
    3. StatusReport
    4. CDR-generation
    5. CAP-interworking with SCP for (Prepaid subscribers)

For home subscribers with 1packet SMS.
For home subscribers with multi-packet SMS.
    For inbound roamers.

    4. Some node (SGSN or SMSC) must generate CallDetailRecords about MT-SMS and MO-SMS for Postpaid bills.
    5. In case if You have prepaid subscribers in Your network, You shold check IDP-messages presence from SGSN to Your SCP with information for prepaid billing.

    >just what are the ways to check the CDR
Check therir presence, make sure number, date, time are right.

    >and the status Report messages?
    Check their presence on Gb-interface.

    >what are the size of the packet, characters???
    With 7bit encoding 1packet – about 140 chars.
    With UCS2 encoding 1packet – about 64 chars.
    See GSM 03.40 for details.
