In case the Switches are used for supporting calls viz:- ISUP based then there is no difference irrespective of the switch u use. Only incase of Tcap message would there be a difference between ansi and etsi .To solve these problem ITU standards are used.

You should not have problems, all the vendors designs their products following the ITU, ETSI, ANSI standards, is important to have clear idea of what kind of standar you have to use to accomplish your needs, a good example is the one sid by VERMA, other example is for example in México where per regulatory ISUP is mandatory tehrefore all the vendors has to fine their ITU standard to cover regulatory issues, finally there are many kind of switches, carriers but not problems working among them.

    Hi Naveed,

In case of those Chineese SWITCHES-HUWEI & ZTE you may have to face some probs in the implementation stage.I dont know much abt ZTE & HUWEI,But I worked with another one Chineese vendor called as SHANGHAI BELL in Bangladesh. There they implemented a ALCATEL-S12 Kind of Switch for which they did lot of alterations in the core software as per requirements.

    Rgds
