Dear All,

We are using Siemens equipment. In EGPRS, we find that there is rejection of TBF. What I find astonishing is that ATTEMPTED TBF-SUCCESS TBF=REJECTED TBF. Does any have idea why it is not equal?

Hello NK,

First of all, I don’t work with Siemens, so I can’t help you precisely. Just doing my best 🙂

The indicators are formulas based on counters. To investigate your issue:
1/ find the formulas for the 3 indicators you are looking at
2/ analyze it (does “attempt – success” = “reject” ?) Perhaps the reject is just counting one specific type of TBF failures ?
3/ If the formulas are fine, then check the counters. I mean, check the trigger mechanism of each counter but also do an example. Take one cell and extract all counters used in the formulas. Compute it yourself, in other words. The Difference will probably jump to your face like a hungry tiger.
