“LLC frame” refers to the frames sent from SGSN to MFS (DL) and from MFS to SGSN (UL). This is the b interface.
Those frames can contain data (user data) or signalling (usually GMM)

The LLC DATA VOLUME refers to the amount of data travelling on the Gb interface. Now, check the indicator definition to know if this “volume” includes User Data + Signalling or only “User Data”.

what the limitation of user throuhput in case of Gb over framelay

There are no BW limitation to users due to Frame Relay.

The IP interface is just easier to configure, easier to integrate (the rest of the backbone LAN is already in IP) and could provide bigger trunk capacity.

However the Gb interface is rarely a bottleneck.

thanks , and if we use one e1 for Gb interface is this mean that the maximium througput for this bsc is 2MB

The Gb is between MFS and SGSN, so the BSC is not concerned here.

If your ATER PS (BSC-MFS) is 1 E1 only, then you will suffer serious bandwidth limitations in all cells of the BSC.
