3G Traffic and Network Dimensioning

    Hi

    There is debate about how best to dimension for multiservice traffic where the main challenge is packet data that is made up of both time critical but also store and foreward traffic.

    Do you add means allowing for an activity factors or do you use a mix?

    I would handle time critical packet data as circuit switched data.

    Yes I am aware of that approach but even if you do, how do you dimension the combination with voice / actual circuirt data using Kaufman.

    Most people in the field separate packet data which is then treated separately.
