Hi,

Can we implemenet BICC over Nc Interface ( MSS-MSS) with TDM connectivty between MGWs connecetd to the MSSs . That is , Nb interface over TDM . Per me it shoud be IP/ATM over Nb only for BICC but I have heard that in some networks they have implemented BICC with Nb over TDM

what if you consider TDM resources as a Bandwidth ? then you have 2mbps. just encapsulation (Layer 2) should be Serial ( Point to point , HDLC , Frame Relay) rest technique like as MPLS can be run on Routers.but if you think of TDM as 32 channel i should say Nop impossible.

BICC is basically ISUP and CS-2.
Used between Softswitches (MSS) in a Mobile Network.
