Hi All,

In UMTS network suppose that we want to change cell configuration from 1 to 2, i.e. change number of transmitters from 1 to 2. Do we need to have one more 5 MHz bandwidth frequency or just define a new scrambling code for the new transmission is enough?

Wekk my understanding says for any particular cell, you need just one scrambling code, irrespective of the number transmitters within that cell.
What do you have to say about my statement??
