    Guys,
We have introduced a new BSC in our network and re-home some sites to it. There are three BSC’s managed by one MSC at one region. The problem is there’s no handoves at the border cells (Cells managed by different BSC’s). Neighbors were define. What could be the problem?? I’m a bit new to HUAWEI parameters.
    Please help.
    Regards,
    Timz

if you are using BSC6000 make trace on A interface and see what is the message for HO failure.

    Hello Engineers,
I’m still facing this problem here.
    Your ideas are welcome.
    Thanks

Timz, forget about the OMCR or the BSC 🙂

The problem is certainly in your MSC : the link between each BSC / LAC is not well declared, or the external cells are not well declared.

I might be wrong, but in all such situations, the issue was always the MSC 🙂

You are saying there are three BSCs so what was the situation before this third one ??
Were HOs were normal between already existing BSCs.
Does all three BSCs have same LAC?

If no then check Location updates b/w the LACs if they are normal or not?

Whatever the scenario there must be some database problem either at BSS or NSS end.
