    Hey,

I was involving with the Abis TS structures. Found this LAPD multiplexing. wat is it all about? Could anyone of you explain? n i also wanna know whether it is possible to increase the TS for EDGE in a 4,4,4 cell without effecting my traffic. psst: i have already allocated 1 TS for EDGE as dedicated. Am planning for allocating one more TS as dynamic. will it effect my radio part (Traffic)? kindly advice

it looks like you’re not using alcatel-lucent equipment, so i cant help.
normally, with an Abis dedicated for a 4/4/4 bts, you should be able to allocate more than 1 TS for edge on Abis.

LapD multiplexing probably means that 1 Abis TS can be used to carry several LapD channels (usually, 4 LapD on 1 TS)
