    hi,
    I think the real “support” is vendor depending…

    For example:

    En_Load_Balance=Disable

    Hello

    What is your radio network vendor?

    Siemens vendor ,
    we modify HOM but no change to get balance traffic from DCS 1800 and GSM 900 cell

    Hi, King.

    I still don’t get it…

    You have a multiband cell with not loaded inner zone;
    DCS not laoaded cell in GSM area;
    GSM not loaded cell in DCS area?

    dear TNS
    first thanks for your care…
    I have problems in DCS cell loaded traffic more than GSM cell , I need to realize traffic balance between DCS cell and GSM cell
    Note : using Siemens vender

    Hi, King.

    I’m sorry but my vendor is Alcatel so I can’t give you a exact action plan.
    I can tell you how Alcatel ideology is organized.
    At BSC level we have a “preffered band” ( in my case it’s DCS ).
    This means that when my serving cell is from GSM band the mobile can go to any cell.
    But … when the serving cell have a BCCH from the DCS band some HO reasons are inhibited in such way to keep the traffic in the preffered band. It’s very hard to go to “not preffered band” if we don’t enable a specific parameter at cell level.
    May be you ( Siemens ) have something similar.

    From radio wave propagation point of view it is always eazy to capture traffic on GSM band.

    What are MAX Tx POWERs ( BTS GSM and BTS DCS )?

    You can’t establish MOC and MTC in the GSM cell or MOC and MTC are established on GSM but there are a outgoing HOs to the DCS cells?

    dear TNS,
    THE MAX Tx POWERs for BTS GSM
    MSTXPMAXGSM=33dBm
    and related BTS DCS
    MSTXPMAXGSM=30dBm

    Hi,

    I think, you can try with PL=5(D1800) and PL=10(G900)

    Thanks

    but still unbalance traffic from DCS 1800 and GSM 900 cell

    Hi guys,
    Same problem with me here. I work for an Operator with HUAWEI equipment,cells are congested on 900 Band while 1800 Band is still capable of carrying traffic. We have limited 900 Band frequencies which forced us to deploy only a maximum of two (2)900 TRXs. Anybody with an idea on how to balance/force traffic to 1800 band. Please help coz am new in HUAWEI parameters.
    Regards,
    Timz

    Hi TMZ
    can you give CRO,RX level access min,CBQ,interlayer HO threshold for the network

    Hello Timz,

    Depending on your settings, retuning some parameters among the below listed may help you achieve the desired Traffic Balance;

    CRO
    Load HO Allowed
    Load HO Threshold
    Inter-layer HO Threshold
    REXLEV_ACCESS_MIN
    Tch Traffic busy Threshold(%)
    AMR TCH/H Prior Cell Load Threshold
    Edge HO UL RX_LEV Threshold
    Edge HO DL RX_LEV Threshold
    AMR DL RX_LEV Upper Threshold
    AMR DL RX_LEV Lower Threshold
    AMR UL RX_LEV Upper Threshold
    AMR UL RX_LEV Lower Threshold
    DL RX_LEV Upper Threshold
    DL RX_LEV Lower Threshold
    UL RX_LEV Upper Threshold
    UL RX_LEV Lower Threshold
    UL Expected Level at HO Access.
