I am trying to get the number of CCS [ or Erlangs ] for Poisson P.01 Grade of Service [GOS] for up to 1944 trunks. This is the maximum num of trunks per trunk group in a 5ESS switch.

    Thx

If you look in the dynatext docs that lucent uses for the 5ESS under the DOPs section then look up table AX it has the info you are looking for.

Mike – I appreciate the reply. I do not have the “Table AX” you mentioned under DOPs section. I am referencing “EI-SEI”, ISSUE DATE March 2002.

    Thx

I am not sure this is available anywhere on the web. My copy is from 15 years ago and was generated for up to 2000 trunks (DMS limit).

The easiest thing would probably be to generate one with Excel using the information you have and use some of these points as references.

For p.01, 2000 trunks is 68320. To generate your own, you let Excel find the pattern in CCS/trunk. So for 2000 trunks, the ccs/trunk is 34.16.

    For 1944, 66357
    For 1900, 64815
    For 1800, 61313
    For 1700, 57812
    For 1600, 54317
    For 1500, 50823 ccs/trk of 33.88
    For 1400, 47334
    For 1300, 43848
    For 1200, 40367
    For 1100, 36891
    For 1000, 33421 ccs/trk of 33.42
    For 900, 29957
    For 800, 26501
    For 700, 23054
    For 600, 19620
    For 500, 16168
    For 400, 12797
    For 300, 9422 ccs/trk of 31.4
