same E1 for more than 1 BTS(sharing)

    HI everybody,
    Would you please explain how can we share 1 E1 for 2 or more BTS?
    (How should we cross connect TRXSIG, OMUSIG, TCHSIG…?)

    Typically on NOKIA ultrasite

    In Motorola we have a way call daisy chain.
    In this way we can connect multiple BTS to one E1.

    Does anyone know how to use 1 E1 for a chain of BTS? (E1 sharing)

    yes,we can use more than 1 bts in 1 e1,what we have to do is to bypass channels that is tch,trx sig,omu to the required bts site and that will be bypass from the same channel where we have got 2M

    I have job to on air bts evolium 9100. Link to bsc is prepare and i can request any config, etc. Bts status is has create in
    Bsc sw but my bts modul not respond and menu to on air not yet. How to on air Bts evo to working properly. Thanks all

    Ya,it is called et splitting…
    U just need to by pass required time slots where u can define tch,trxsig.omu….remember on 1 e1 max 13 trx r possible…see d trafic manager…

    Hi,

    As much as i know in ultra site you have 4 LIF so that you can use first one as Basic Link and with other LIF you can implement Star Or Multidrop configuration (In Ultra you can do it by using of Cross Connect Capability).

    how many cascading site creat in a single e1
    in a single e1 one time slot is 64 kbps but in trx one time slot is 16kbps how?

    Wenormally use one E1 when when sharing tha BTS because media is unavailable, for sharing we need to calculate the no. of trx defined in each site
