    Hello chaps,

Since CSSR is not a standard KPI, I have made up a formula which is:

    (THCASSALL+TFCASSALL)/(TASSALL/CMSESTAB)*(CCONG+CMSESTAB)

It works fine, but sometime it gives over 100 % in the TCH part, does anyone know is it correct forumla ????

    Thanks.

    Jose

    Hi Jose,

CSSR = SDCCH success seizure * ( 1- SDCCH drop) * TCH success seizure.

    Hope it helps!

    Hi all,

@ risa: it’s an ALU Formula, they dont have the same approach.

@ Jose: if you have a Direct Retry in your Network you will have this behaviour in the TCH part. It’s simple, when we perform a TCH Request in one cell (cell1) but due to congestion we perform a Direct Retry to another cell (cell2), in addition, we have a TCH Att in cell1 and a TCH Succ in cell2 (not in cell1). So TCH Success in cell2 will be over than TCH Att in the same cell (cell2) ==> TCH Success Rate over than 100%.

    Hi Sanjay,

I think that’s not good solution. Because Very many parametrs depending to result (Erlang to Mbytes). You need formula for PS traffic by kbit/s.

    What kind of system using?
