just give a small restart. it is good for the complete system also in addition to the hanging command

You can either do the small restart (which is a last resort by the way) or you can find the forlopp id from an syfap, then release the forlopp manually.

A Forlopp release, may not release the hung command, depending on the functions blocks it travels through. Before a restart, try and trace the command and maybe locate using the Test System

Are you the same Bob Smith who use to work at potters bar?

Anyway, know where your coming from Bob, my other thought was do the forlopp release and see what the software error kicks up.
Normally hanging commands get chucked back to Ericsson with us, either its an issue which they will sort or they just come back with the usual “small restart”, but wanted to give the OP a look in how to find the error in the first place and if you keep digging a little, find what else is still in the list at the same date/time.

yes i agree about small restart is the last resort. because it will be interupt the traffic.
before it we can try find the detail of forlopp filenum with syfip and release forlopp with the command syfri
