Hi All,
Could anyone summarise the differences that exist in normal HO (intra BSC, inter BSC) and inter MSC HO? Like for example, Directed Retry does not work in Inter MSC HO. If someone can point to a link, I’d be grateful

inter msc ho includes additional signalling between the two MSC. But all messages between MSC / BSC / MS remain the same.

For directed retry, i don’t know whether or not it works.. i guess it’s vendor dependent, or perhaps the 3GPP has missed this possibility in their specs ?
