CM for TMA on RBS 2102

I have a question about dual polarization antennas, in particular I am working with an Andrew 10ft Parabolic antenna.

The antenna has two waveguide connections on the back, one vertical and one horizontal. The installation can be done with the port in a horizontal position, that is, side by side, or it can be rotated so that the port are oriented in a vertical position, that is, one above the other. My question is, does the orientation of the waveguide connectors affect which port is considered as horizontal and which is vertical; or does the V and H ports remain the same regardless of how the ports are physically oriented.
