    hello everybody,
when we send measurement report on SACCH in active mode on the 13th frame,I think we use the signaling frequency, Is that True?
For example we use TCH on F1 and Signaling on F0
during 12 frame we use F1 during one frame we use F0 and during the other 12 frames we use again F1 and the last frame is used for listening the neighboring Cell.
And the same question for the FACCH:
when we steal a TCH for FACCH do we use the signaling frequency?
    thank you

    SACCH,

they are all using exactly the same frequency (or frequencies, in case of hopping) as the TCH bursts.

A user is allocated only one timeslot (= a physical link). This physical link carries TCH and SACCH repeatedly, and FACCH on-demand.

    Thank you Pix,

But Why are we using SACCH on the signaling frequency?
If we look the mapping SDCCH/8 on TS1 we have from frame 0 to frame 31 SDCCH, and from frame 32 to 47 SACCH (and frame 48 49 50 Idle).

For the SACCH associated with the TCH we send measurement report,
but from SACCH associated with SDCCH what will we sent?

    Thank you

the sacch you see on the SDCCH is used to send measurement report while a mobile is performing the SDCCH pahse (authentication, ciphering, callsetup, location update, etc.)

    regards,
