    Hi all, i would like to know the exact formula for Gb load calculation, what are the used indicators an where we could get it (alcatel case).

    number of TRX usage
    Number of PDCH
    % coding scheme usage

    Example
    If T = number of TRX in BSC
    thus total TDMA time slot = Tx8
    If GPRS traffic is 20% of this BSC
    thus number of Packet switch(PS) = (Tx8)20/100

    Suppose that T = 1000 TRx
    Tx8 = 8000 , PS 20% = 1600 PS
    For maximum MSC=MCS9 = 59.2Kbps
    thus
    Gb bandwidth = 1600×59.2Kbps = 94.72Mbps
