    Hi All,
I wanted to ask: How can a cell experience GPRS Blocking? I have already assigned 1 Dedicated and 3 Dynamic Timeslots so if more are not available, gprs should work with a low throughput and not display any blocking. Also, that cell is carrying only 1 erlang traffic with 2 TRXs and there is no CS Blocking. I am working on Nokia 2G equipment and this cell is registering Multislot Blocking

    THanks,

multislot blocking is the soft blocking not the hard blocking or rejection, it means that the number of timeslots that are requested by the MS are not being served but a lesser number than requested.
