can any one explain to me the advantage of BSC with many LAC and disadvantage

Hi…
1)firstly, many LACs leads to more LA, leading to SD congestion.

2) More Pagging and channelling/ signalling load .

Whenever mobile user receive call so mobile user is paged in whole Location Area if LA is so big its mean waste of resources bec every time whole LAC will be paged.
If BSC have many LACs its mean unnecassary LU will occur and cause SD congestion.
