MIGRATING BTS

Hi all,

Suppose you have to migrate a BTS site from one BSC to another BSC.

Let us say from BSC1 to BSC2.

Both the BSC1 and BSC2 are under same MSC.

A BTS site BTS-ABC currently under BSC1 working fine.
One fine day the BTS-ABC is deleted in BSC1 and created in BSC2.

The above task is done by MML.

Now comes the task of defining neighbors.

What precautions are to be taken for defining the neighbors for BTS-ABC in BSC2.

Note: BSC1 and BSC2 represents two LAI.

Any thing is to be done at MSC end for such a case?

Also,

whatever may be the vendor platform.. what are the essential inputs(GSM) which are to be defined for a cell neighbor?
