Our subscriber base is reducing everyday but our traffic volume is still the same, why?

From the formula giving by Ayat, our traffic volume will be approximately 77million Kbyte.

Please, is there any help or suggestion towards this problem

    Dear, ulva

TCH call Blocking , it present how many subscriber asks for TCH channel and network reply with no avaliable resource.

so it present how many subscriber request TCH channel to reject this request

    TCH call drop

after subscriber get TCH and start converstion

during it the call is dropped for some reasons not related to the subscribers .

also for SDCCH call drop rate the same

but SDCCH not for call,it is signaling channel

    also SDCCH blocking rate(%)

    the same for TCH blocking

    i hope it is clear

may be you can expalin what you need with more calarifaction

    hi kashif,

    Kpi means ‘key performance index’

these are used to analyse and optimise the performance of mobile network.the folloving kpi parameters are used.
    1.SDCCH Blocking %
    2.TCH Blocking or congestion
    3.CSSR%
    4.SDCCH DROP
    5.TCH drops
6.Cell/Traffic Utilizatin and many more their values are depend upon or varies acording to mobile operators need.AS i Know………..

    Hi,

The main reason behind the TCH And Sdcch drop is congestion. if there is no resource is available in n/w due to high traffic.

hardware fault also can happen to these type of drops

    4. Wrong Defination( Causes HO Failoure)
    5. Bad RX Level
    6. ICM Band Interference
    7. Site physicaly not optimized( Orientation, tilt, Having swap in rf cables )

    Hi,

    some use this:
Congestion is the time when you do not have free channels.
Blocking is the number of rejected tch due to congestion (no free channels)
Both they give yo the picture for example after a concert for 6 minutes you have congestion (10%) but the blocking could be different e.g. 50%.

Congestion means no channels are free.
blocking means when no channels are free and a call is made,it doesn’t gets through.

unit of congestion is time 7 unit og blocking is count or %
