    Hi all,

We have an issue regarding sdcch overflow on bsc access; it occurs in just an hour anytime of the day, for almost everyday. It happens only in some bsc’s,
may we ask your opinion why this problem occurs.

Kindly email me in this add if you have any idea on this:

    Thanks!

    Dear John,
What do you mean by sdcch over flow. do you mean sd blocking?
If that is the case then there would be some cells effected on that BSC.

attempted sdcch seizure meeting sdcch overflow – – this occurs when MS or MSC request sdcch from bsc and that bsc cannot provide sdcch for it

    Well,
First of all what end stats are you looking at if you are looking at the RF stats then you should have blocking trend on cell level as well. Please see the hourly trend on these cells since SDs are utalilzed for MTC,MOC Location Update, SMS MT and SMS MO. along with other reasons then you can see the SMS usage distribution as well to narrow out the cause. Usually such problems occur at the Location Boundary. and there are some parameters you can play with. Please check what is the major cause of SD utalization on those sites.
