    hi all,
    i want to know how to transmit several BTS using the same E1 ?
    (how about ODP)

    depends how many TRX you have… if 13(14) you can share the E1 making caskade connection. I know it from Ericsson 2206

    We have split an E1 with two DDS Fastway services in South Australia!

    Due to the limited transmission backbone bandwidth in some areas in our network. We have a 3 BTS sharing one E1 connected in diasy chain each with a capacity of S111.

    Hi Cosmonito,
    Actually, it depends on number of sites and TRX’s. Each site requires an OML & each TRX requires a RSL. So the combination of four LAPD signaling, say OML & RSL, occupies a time slot in an E1. From that you can know how many sites an E1 can support.
