    Hi all,

    PLMN MSC……..Exchange A

    PSTN Exchange….Exchange B

Subscriber of Exchange B dials a number of Exchange A. He gets announcement of Exchange B + Exchange A.

Which parameter should be set so that Subscriber of Exchange B when dials a number of Exchange A. SHOULD gets announcement of Exchange A only.

What is standard in CCS7 for announcements between PSTN and PLMN.

    Regards

    MKT

    Hi,
Probably Exchange A sends ACM with field In_band_information_available which means that announcement is connected and then REL with some Cause_Value.And Exchange B reacts on Cause_Value by playing announcement.

As ussual the last exchange must play the announcement. You can remove the play_tone flag in the trunk configuration to play the announcement at exchange B.That is the trunk connected between Exchange A and B.
