    Happy to be of help.

    I’ve been in cellular engineering for 9 years and fixed network point to point RF link engineering for 4 years before that. I’ve worked on AMPS, GSM, CDMA and now UMTS/HSPA networks.

    Whats your background please?

    Hi, all.

    Hi, WirelessNetNut.

    I have a question:

    “Cell Breathing doesnt affect capacity as much as it affects coverage…”

    I always thought that the “Cell Breathing” is reduction of the serving area due to power lack, because the coverage is depending of the pilot channel level. We have a reserved power for this pilot, so the coverage area is intact… is this true?
