common capacity unit for core & Radio

    Hi,

    I am looking for a common capacity unit that can be used to measure the capacity of Radio and Core networks in a mobile telecom system. I mean a common capacity unit for BTS, Node B, RNC, MSC, BSC, SGSN, GGSN and HLR etc. One of the unit that comes to mind is simultaneos call capacity?

    Can any one help.

    Hi MM,

    If I understood your question, you are looking for measure ( dimension ) to estimate voice, data and signaling traffic in the same time.
    I think you could convert the erlang traffic to kbit/s for the different interfaces…
    What is simultaneos call capacity?
