WHY 1+1 LINK?

    Plz tell what is the basic reason of upgrading a 1+0 link to a 1+1 link.(For 1+0 link,one radio is used,for 1+1 two radios are used with one dish).Is it done for backup prupose or for increasing capacity?Waiting for ur positive response.

    It is to protect your link.

    1 + 1 = 2 ODU and 2 IDU.

    If you lose 1 way, you have ever the second.
    If you have less of 8 BTS, you can stay with 1+0.
