rbs 2206 and optimizeur L3COM

    hi,

    Ericsson rbs 2206

    when i connect directy the rbs on the vsat, its works normaly

    when i put optimizeur between the rbs and the vsat, the status of cf and its subord is noop.

    please help me to find the solution.

    Dear Thierry, pay attention: should be changed ‘SIGDEL’ parameter from ‘Normal’ to ‘Long’ on the RXMOC on TG level. because the VSAT is not terrestrial connection for the TG. do it and try.

    Thank for your answer,

    I already changed parameter ‘Sidgel’ to ‘long’ without result.

    Intelsat 707 is the satellite link.

    The fact that you connect RBS to VSAT works, SIGDEL is already long, I guess your optimizeur introduced too much delay.

    Dear All,
    Maybe there is sometning to chck also that is from satelite site there is capacity for how many channel will be carried should define from Satelite side. ask the satelite engineer for that.

    Hi Willi,

    Yes, generally, it’s best to give different LACs to the sites connected via VSAT. This would greatly reduce the signalling to those sites and improve your SDCCH accessibility.
