If i allocate a SDCCH on Non Bcch Trx(Hopping Enabled) what will happen will it hop or what will be the egffect.

there is different frame structure for SDCCH and SACCH and i guess hopping is there in this channel

i guess for setting of hopping it just chks for BCCH channels only

so y do u say hopping is not possible?

hopping is possible on all timeslots except :
– the BCCH timeslot in BaseBand Hopping
– all timeslots on the BCCH TRX in Synthetized Frequency Hopping

the SDCCH is considered as a standard timeslot when it comes to hopping, and it follows perfectly the rule above.
