    Can any one please explain how to “ctrai” on a MGW?

    If you are talking abot Ericcson MGW – you should use GUI for MGW connection, and there is an option like ‘Trace call’. That is only tool for call tracing in MGW. ctrai can be executed only at AXE(MSS or MSC for example)

    We are using stretto 2000 Audio Codes Media Gateway. I like to know that is there any options to check “Trace Call”. or anyo other way to check it. Kindly help me

    Hi professionals,
    I am working on Nokia GSM system ; a lot many times whle making a call , handset displays “CONNECTION ERROR”. This is happening in both MSC and MGW(MSS) based switching.

    Please shed some light.

    Hi Rishabh,
    If BSC also Nokia, check CCSPCM(CIC) on both side, and transmission way. Also it can be related with active feature Soft Channel Capacity on BSC. And lastly check parameter NBL on BTS’s in non-CommonBCCH cells must be equal 0.
