Hi to all.
Did anyone try to download Google Earth photo to TEMS Investigation? Seems to me it would be very helpfull to see detailed picture during drive-test.

We once talked to Tems over this but they denied however u can plot ur sites on TCPU planning tool.

problem with google earth : you can “extract” only the snapshot of the current map on your screen. So it is a trade off between a map with good details but small area, or very low details for a wider area…

On the bright side, MapInfo vectors are good enough for drive tests, and they allow a faster display rate than bigger images.

Hi Nick,

As rightly said by Pix,

We can import snapshot from google earth to MAPINFO.

I you need to peform a DT for some small area, Take a snapshot from google anfd import on to that.

May be this might of any help.
