can someone tell me how ovp alarms in the ericsson outdoor rbs work? i would like to see a diagram of how it works internally ,if possible, so i can wire the external alarms properly

No need knowing internal diagram, just do open and close connection (loop/break) connection then we kown how to configure external alarm

i think i understand what you are saying, but to be on the safe side can you explain this point a little more in detail. the ovp alarms are from the ericsson RBS 2106 model

And I have a device I want use the external alarm to mornitering it’s statement but I don’t know how the external alarm of OVP work, how can I turn on and turn off the alarm by my device throught the Ex alarm of OVP.

is it different from indoors?
did you mean ovp’s innside of DF or seperate 2Mbit Protector?
