a cell whose TCH and SDCCH Drop reasons are higher. The reason of sdcch drop is generally due to other reason and the reason of TCH drop reasons are generally low quality uplink, signal strength downlink and sudden loss.
Also this cell DISCBQ and BADSQI statistics are higher than KPI threshold values. (Ericsson Systems)
    Thanks for your help.

1st step : detect hardware failure
    check the Path Balance,
    check the drops per TRX

2nd step : detect radio problem
check that neighbors are well defined
check that coverage is good until PBGT HO is performed towards a neighbor
check indoor locations which could generate a lot of traffic with a poor coverage
    check interference

    finally : additional work…
understand why and where the drops are occurring.
what type of outgoing HO are performed (quality, level ?). What about incoming HO ?
what is the average duration of a call, for each TRX.
    and so on.

this cells some neighbours are away from itself and handover attempts are low with these cells but especially incoming HO failures are so high.
Also generally incoming HO failure percentage so high.

I wonder that if I increase the downtilt of antenna, will it be solution.

    EEE,

no it will decrease the coverage of the cell even more ! it seems there is a typical coverage problem. You must find a way to increase the coverage in the places where you have the more traffic…

(re orientation, TMA, or maybe uptilt, if you already have a downtilt).

    Hello ,all
    how are you?
    i have a question .
In ZTE vender , they have SDCCH and TCH Congestion are high
i am asking if there is soluation on increase no of channel ???
and i need to know what is TCH allocattion and TCH assign.
i knowolu one thing that tch allocation occues between BSC and BTS , assign between BTS and MS.
In our network the most sites have allocte > assign
Plz could you help me ?????????

yes you are right. as per my understanding…allocation means when BSC has ‘reserved’ a channel to be assigned but not actually assigned it. Assignment means when the channel is actually given to MS to communication.

    In ZTE:
TCH Allocation Successful= TCH Assigned Successful + TCH Assignment Failure
