hi i have observes on some site different forward power levels on the BTS trx, the BCCH trx forward power level is always a lot higher than the second trx in the DTRU, should all Trx not have roughly the same forward power level?

    Hi Daibi,
BCCH TRX must all the time transmit with full power (all TS). The rest of TRX are transmitting only when it’s necessary. Some of TS are transmitting with full power and some of TS are transmitting with lower power (due to power control – mobile is near to the site) and tre rest of TS are idle.

thanks tomar , so i guess if i make some test calls further away from the site i should see the forward power higher than i see it when at the site on the non bcch trx
