    Hi folks,
Did anibody try to configure Ultrasite in multi-band configuration with 1 sector is fully in 900 and the other one is fully 1800 (including BCCH)? Does the s/w make problems with it and is this configuration supported at all ?
    Thanks in advance.

    Solution existing.
    Your BTS is divised (physically)in 2 parts.(DBUS)
The MAX configuration is 222 in 900 en 222 in 1800.

    You create 6 sectors BTS:A,B,C,D,E,F.

I am thinking that you can create 1 sector 900 and the rest of BTS in 1800. In this case the max configuration will be: 600 in 900 and 222 in 1800.

    You must have 2 PCM:
    One ET for 1800
    One ET for 900
With hubmanger, you attribut your IT (OMU, TCH, SIG, EDAP)

    Look this “real” example:

    BCF-038 ULTRASITE BCF38 WO

    00110 58088 BTS-001 U
    C74665D
    EDGE TRX-001 U WO 66

    00110 58089 BTS-002 U WO
    C74665E
    EDGE TRX-003 U WO 55

    00110 58090 BTS-003 U WO
    C74665F
    EDGE TRX-005 U WO 58

    00110 40374 BTS-070 U WO
    C74665A
    EDGE TRX-007 U WO 778

    00110 40375 BTS-071 U WO
    C74665B
    EDGE TRX-009 U WO 833
    TRX-010 U WO 885

    00110 40376 BTS-072 U WO

    EDGE TRX-011 U WO 830
    TRX-012 U WO 879

    Thanks for reply.
I really have 2xE1 on BTS and I would like to configure 3 sector configuration (4 TRX in each one) when one will use only TXDB TRX for 1800 and other 2 only TXGB for EGSM-900. Or vice versa 1 sector with 900 and 2 sectors with 1800. What d’you think about it?

BTW, do you think it is possible to place one of the sectors in mixed configuration? 2×900 on first baseband (first one is BCCH carrier) and 2 additional in 1800. Theoretically it’s possible to place multi-band in cell allocation and I know Ericsson allow this configuration. What’s about Nokia?
    Thanks,
