    Hello everybody,

Can anybody tell me where can I find the minimum signal level requeired outdoor and indoor in a GSM/DCS network?

I know this depends on the operator that we’re talking about, but I want to have some standard values.

    Thanks

    Javi,

    signal > -85dBm = acceptable
outdoor signal of -75dBm = first wall indoor coverage

either GSM or DCS, no difference. But this figures should take into account the interferences.
In a dense city, you’ll need > -75dBm for good signal, otherwise you’ll get interferences.
