Actually the most often reasons behind SD blocking are :

1- poor coverage
2- improper TXinteger setting
3-LAPd delay (transmissio)
4-Cochannel/Co BSIC interference
5-UL interference + Fake access requests
6-Overshooting.

first change hardware in most of case due to hardware malfunctioning it happen,

after change if still not resolve than shift BCCH on different TRX,

If still not resolve change BCCH trx from Hopping to No-hopping mode,

if still not resolve enable TCH immediate assign

Hi Mr. i have problem on high SD blocking but not on TCH blocking, on some cell that contribute found some transmission alarm (radio link failure, radio signaling link disconnected), whether this alarm affected to SD blocking??
I already add more SD channel but still blocking…

hi rasta bum,

Please check the number of SDCCH requests or attempts made per hour in the cell.
Plot this on an hourly graph, along with the SDCCH blocking rate.
Do you notice a high number of requests when the congestion is high ?
Then, find the indicator “sdcch congestion time” -> how high is this indicator during the hour when blocking is high ?
