One Single E1 Mathematically can handle how many time slots of 16 Kbps traffic?28th September 2006 at 01:34 #45784heruGuest
Single E1 can handle 2,048 Mbps
traffic, so if 1 timeslot same with 16 kbps
1E can handle 2,048Mbps / 16 Kbps = 128 Time slots28th September 2006 at 05:48 #45785Ramajayam cyrGuest

32 channels ? I thought it was 32 timeslots…
1 E1 timeslot = 4 nibbles.
1 nibble = 1 user in Full Rate / 2 users in Half Rate.

I think you just mistakingly put the unit the wrong way. or perhaps you just used comma instead of dot..
1E1 = 2.048 Mbps6th October 2006 at 05:17 #45790heruGuest

but all the TRU’s r going into noop state. suggest??9th October 2006 at 12:10 #45794GEETMUKHRAGuest
If you have defined edge on each cells BCCH then TRUs will not go in Noop.trUs will go in noop if you are using more than 12 trus on single E1.
Can u tell me on which slots u have defined edge.
